Bosch Group is the global leader in automotive technology and service suppliers. In 1902, Bosch designed and produced the first spark plug worldwide, which was the milestone of automotive industry. Bosch Automotive Products (Nanjing) Co., Ltd (RBNJ for short) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, which was founded on 2 Apr. 1996 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH and Nanjing Electric Group, the previous name of RBNJ was Nanjing Huade Spark Plug Co., Ltd (NHSP for short). In Feb. 2010, Bosch took over all the shares of NHSP and the company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bosch group. In Mar. 2011, Bosch increased the capital again and the company renamed to RBNJ. The new plant of RBNJ is located in Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone with an area of 300,000 sqm², and grandly opened on 20 Mar. 2013. RBNJ is dedicated to manufacturing of spark plugs, brake components and diagnostics equipments. It’s the largest spark plug manufacturing base in Bosch Group, and a new R&D base for brake components and diagnostics which owning the most advanced testing platforms and equipments.

Spark plug division: our excellent corrosion resistance and reliable igniting guarantee Bosch spark plugs working well under any conditions. Meanwhile, Bosch spark plugs also have the advantages on long service life, reducing harmful emissions and saving fuel.

Brake component division: we use international-advanced patented friction materials, strive to find the best balance between braking performance and service life so as to ensure braking safety. Moreover, Bosch brake components show more stable friction coefficients, more reliable emergency brake performance and lower noise etc.

Automotive service solution division: we strictly follow international standards in diagnostic equipments production, at the meantime, localized R&D team enable even faster and better service to customers. The new wheel alignment system has high accuracy which could ensure safe driving and easy controlling, and the new types of tire changer and dynamic balancing machine have advantages on saving time for operation, protecting tires during changing etc.

The new plant will significantly enhance the production capacity of Bosch's Automotive Aftermarket business, and effectively integrate related product lines in China. Increasing car ownership in China will lead to the rare opportunity for the Chinese Automotive Aftermarket to develop, meanwhile, global sales and service channels of Bosch group would benefit RBNJ serving for global market as well. With the continuous improvement concept, RBNJ will seize the strategic opportunity to bundle manufacturing and technical strengths. In addition, RBNJ will continue to provide high-quality automotive components as well as advanced diagnostic equipments and technology to end customers around the world.
