General Information - Bosch China Charity Center

Bosch China Charity Center (BCCC) is the center which manages all Bosch’s charitable activities in China. Since its establishment in 2011, BCCC has always adhered to its core value of “Charity For A Better Life” and has dedicated its activities to four focus areas: Education Development, Poverty Alleviation, Community Building and Philanthropy Development.

In 2023,

BCCC donated nearly 18.61 million CNY and has launched 80 charitable projects including of 43 newly established projects covering 30 locations nationwide.

Bosch China has 3,400+ registered volunteers with a total service time of 9,000+ hours in the whole year.

The awards included “Sunshine Starting Point•Outstanding Contribution Partners”, “2023 Outstanding Charity Case-Future Craftsman” etc.

By the end of 2023, Bosch China has donated a total of RMB 192 million and implemented 291 charity projects with more than 180 charity partners, covering 30 provincial-level administrative regions, benefiting more than 1.2 million people, and jointly promoting the 8 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

4 Focus Areas

Education Development

Poverty Alleviation

Core Direction:

1. To make every effort to mobilize as many resources as possible to provide necessary basic living security and support post disaster reconstruction for the people in the disaster area, when a sudden disaster occurs (Relief poverty alleviation);

2. To dig the drive of local rural areas and encourage the technology application and digital methods to promote rural revitalization in multiple directions by funding professional and experienced NGOs (Enabling poverty alleviation).

Community Building

Philanthropy Development

Core Direction:

1. To cultivate talents in the China’s Philanthropy Industry or social innovation through education training, community building and resources connecting;

2. To sponsor start-ups or small-scale grassroots NGOs in the unrestricted way, by this way to enhance NGO’s ability in the flied of education and poverty alleviation.
